The Space Shuttle was a reusable spacecraft developed by NASA. It was used from 1981 to 2011 to carry astronauts, satellites, and scientific equipment into space. It had three main parts: 🛩️ Orbiter – the spacecraft where astronauts lived and worked. 🔥 External fuel tank – carried liquid fuel for the main engines. 🚀 Two solid rocket boosters – provided most of the thrust during launch. After reaching space, the orbiter could return to Earth and land like an airplane. This made the Space Shuttle different from most earlier spacecraft. The Space Shuttle helped build the International Space Station, launch the Hubble Space Telescope, and perform many scientific missions. Fun fact: The Space Shuttle wasn't actually a single vehicle—it was a whole launch system! 🚀🇺🇸
