SFS BP Editor — Build BP-edited rockets visually — any angle, any size, no files
This is BP editing without the old way. Build your whole rocket in the browser like in the game's build screen, then tilt engines and parts to any angle from 0 to 360 degrees, stretch them past the menu limits, mirror them and switch off heat damage. Import any rocket from a share link to edit it, and open the result straight in Spaceflight Simulator. No JSON files, no text editors, no locked Android folders. Everything runs on your own device.
How it works
- Build or import a rocket — Place parts on the build grid like in the game, or paste an SFS share link to load an existing rocket.
- BP edit it visually — Tap a part to set any angle from 0 to 360 degrees, stretch it past the in-game limits, mirror it or switch off heat damage.
- Open it in SFS — Get a share link that opens in the game, or download the blueprint and load it from the build menu on Android, iPhone or PC.
Questions players ask
What is BP editing in Spaceflight Simulator?
BP editing means changing values inside a blueprint file that the in-game build menu will not let you set: angles that are not multiples of 90 degrees, sizes past the menu limits, mirrored parts, overfilled tanks, and engines with heat damage switched off. This BP editor does it visually, so you never open a file or write code.
How do I BP edit SFS on mobile?
Open this BP editor in your phone browser. Build a rocket on the grid or paste an SFS share link to load one, tap a part to set its angle and size, then get a share link that opens in the game. You never have to find or export a rocket file first.
Can you rotate SFS parts to 45 degrees?
Not in the game's build menu, which only turns parts in 90-degree steps. This BP editor writes the angle straight into the blueprint file, so any value from 0 to 360 degrees works, decimals included. For the opposite side use the mirror button — SFS has no negative angles, so 30 degrees pairs with 330.
Is the BP Editor an SFS mod?
Not a game mod, but it covers what many players search for as SFS mods on mobile: part angles the build menu blocks, oversized engines and overfilled tanks. Real code mods need the PC version and a mod loader. Blueprints from this editor open in the normal game on Android, iPhone and PC.
Do I need a PC to edit SFS blueprints?
No. The BP Editor runs in a phone browser and builds the file for you, so you never have to find or export an existing rocket file first.
Will editing break my rocket or its staging?
No. The editor never changes the rocket saved in your game: what you edit opens as a new blueprint, so the original stays as it was. Parts you did not touch keep their exact file data, and the editor warns you when an edit leaves a part loose.
Why is my engine still overheating?
The no-heat switch only appears on parts that actually carry that setting in their file, and it is an experimental creative-mode flag. Some game versions ignore it.
Do I need the DLC for the colours?
The Saturn V patterns come from the Skins DLC. Without it the game falls back to the plain white or grey texture — the part still loads and flies normally.
Is my file uploaded anywhere, and is this allowed?
Nothing is uploaded — everything runs inside your browser and nothing is stored. It edits your own local save files, the same thing players have done by hand for years. It does not touch the game's code.
