HYPERION Mk-II
HYPERION Mk-II Medium-Lift Reusable Launch Vehicle Developed by Project Vayuspace, HYPERION Mk-II is a reusable medium-lift launch vehicle designed for orbital and deep-space missions. With a liftoff mass of 438.11 tonnes, 1,010 tonnes of thrust (TWR: 2.31), and a payload capacity of up to 75 tonnes to Low Earth Orbit, it offers a significant performance upgrade over the Mk-I. Compared to its predecessor, HYPERION Mk-II features a longer payload fairing, enabling the launch of larger spacecraft, space station modules, and oversized payloads. Its reusable first stage is equipped with landing legs, parachutes, and engine-assisted recovery, allowing controlled landings on both land and water through a single-engine landing burn.
