The spacecraft utilizes a two-module architecture, combining a pressurized crew module with a dedicated service module for propulsion, power generation, thermal management, communications, and mission support. Helios incorporates deployable solar panels for electrical power generation and radiator panels for efficient heat rejection during extended missions. Its advanced guidance, navigation, control, and RCS systems provide precise attitude management and orbital maneuvering throughout the mission. For atmospheric re-entry and recovery, the crew module is equipped with two main parachutes and two drogue parachutes
