So the part 2 of gaganyaan is here . Whats is gaganyaan ? Gaganyaan is India's first indigenous human spaceflight programme, developed by the Indian Space Research Organisation (ISRO). Its goal is to demonstrate India's capability to safely send astronauts into Low Earth Orbit (LEO) and bring them back to Earth. � ISRO +1 Mission objectives Launch a crew of up to three astronauts into an orbit of about 400 km above Earth. Keep the crew in space for approximately 3 days. Safely return the crew by splashing down in the Indian Ocean. � ISRO +1 Key components Human-Rated LVM3 (HLVM3): A modified version of ISRO's LVM3 rocket designed to meet stringent human-safety standards. Crew Module: A pressurized capsule where the astronauts live during the mission.
