AURORA-L1

Project Vayuspace’s lunar lander is a two-stage spacecraft designed for precision lunar landing, surface operations, and ascent. The vehicle combines a descent stage with wide landing legs, multiple landing engines, propellant tanks, and thermal insulation. After touchdown, the ascent vehicle ignites its dedicated engines and separates cleanly from the descent stage, leaving the landing hardware on the lunar surface. The crew module carries nuclear-powered emergency systems, using radioisotope power and heat units to provide electricity and thermal energy during prolonged surface emergencies, including lunar night conditions when solar power is unavailable. The spacecraft demonstrates Vayuspace’s approach to resilient, reusable, and mission-focused lunar exploration architecture.
